Rank 1 → Rank 2
Hangaround → Initiate
To advance, the Hangaround must:
Show consistent respect, discipline, and proper behavior
Demonstrate genuine interest in magical study
Observe Coven etiquette without correction
Be approved by an Acolyte-level member or higher
Receive acceptance from the Masters
Rank 2 → Rank 3
Initiate → Probationary Acolyte
To advance, the Initiate must:
Complete foundational study assignments
Practice basic ritual structure accurately
Show emotional maturity and willingness to help others
Participate reliably in discussions or group sessions
Demonstrate understanding of Terra Incognita values
Receive positive evaluation from one Senior Adept or above
Rank 3 → Rank 4
Probationary Acolyte → Acolyte
To advance, the member must:
Demonstrate steady progress in magical theory and practice
Perform supervised rituals with competence
Provide support to at least one lower-ranked member
Show initiative in learning without being prompted
Exhibit respect, consistency, and reliability
Earn approval from a Custodian or Councilor
Rank 4 → Rank 5
Acolyte → Adept
To advance, the Acolyte must:
Demonstrate solid ritual competence and magical control
Apply teachings to personal spiritual development
Offer emotional and practical support to fellow members
Show real-world application of knowledge for positive impact
Maintain perfect adherence to the Coven’s rules
Be recommended by at least two Senior Adepts or one Master
Rank 5 → Rank 6
Adept → Senior Adept
To advance, the Adept must:
Display deep understanding of magic and ritual structure
Consistently help guide Acolytes and Initiates
Show strong emotional grounding and stability
Actively serve the world through knowledge (healing, teaching, helping, uplifting)
Uphold the lineage’s values publicly and internally
Receive approval from the Council
Rank 6 → Rank 7
Senior Adept → Custodian
To advance, the Senior Adept must:
Demonstrate leadership in group rituals, discussions, or study circles
Protect unity, resolve conflicts, and mentor younger members
Preserve and transmit teachings with accuracy
Show initiative in strengthening the Coven’s structure and harmony
Display wisdom, fairness, and selflessness
Be approved unanimously by all active Custodians
Rank 7 → Rank 8
Custodian → Councilor
To advance, the Custodian must:
Demonstrate exceptional magical mastery
Show consistent ability to stabilize group energy
Carry the lineage with dignity, loyalty, and precision
Provide continuous support to members on all levels (material, emotional, spiritual)
Contribute to educational development or structural improvement of the Coven
Be chosen by the Masters and confirmed by the existing Council
Rank 8 → Rank 9
Councilor → Master
To advance, the Councilor must:
Hold advanced knowledge of magical systems and spiritual theory
Train multiple students successfully
Show the ability to create positive change beyond the Coven
Demonstrate near-flawless judgment, emotional mastery, and reliability
Protect the lineage against distortion, misuse, or decay
Receive unanimous approval from all active Masters
Rank 9 → Rank 10
Master → Headmaster
To advance, the Master must:
Demonstrate mastery in magic, teaching, leadership, and human insight
Uphold the tradition at the highest possible standard
Act as a guiding force for the entire Coven
Show the ability to shape the future of the tradition with integrity
Maintain the deepest commitment to learning, helping, uplifting, and preserving the lineage
Be chosen by all Masters together when the position becomes vacant
