Understanding Spiritual Healing and Reiki
For those new to these practices, spiritual healing and Reiki are non-invasive, holistic traditions focused on the "life force energy" that flows through all living things. Reiki is a Japanese technique that translates to "universal life energy." It involves the light placement of hands on or just above the body to encourage the flow of positive energy. It is a cooperative process where the practitioner and the client work together to promote a state of deep relaxation.
Spiritual healing, in a broader sense, encompasses various methods intended to treat the individual as a whole—mind, body, and spirit. These practices are not aligned with any specific religion but are instead rooted in the universal principle of kindness and energetic harmony. They are intended to complement traditional lifestyle choices, offering a peaceful avenue for those wishing to enhance their overall sense of vitality and purpose without the use of adversarial or fear-based ideologies.
