Understanding Spiritual Healing and Reiki

For those new to the terminology, a spiritual healer & reiki practitioner in Boostedt works with the subtle energy systems of the body. Reiki is a Japanese healing technique that dates back to the early 20th century, based on the principle that a practitioner can channel energy to support the natural healing processes of the client. It is a gentle, non-invasive practice that focuses on relaxation and the removal of energetic blockages.

Spiritual healing, in a broader sense, involves a holistic view of the human experience, treating the mind, body, and spirit as an interconnected whole. These traditions do not seek to replace conventional methods but rather act as a cooperative supplement, promoting a state of equilibrium. At Kirsten Fandrey’s practice, these energetic principles are often woven into the physical practices of Yoga and Qigong, providing a multi-dimensional approach to health that is grounded in ancient tradition yet accessible to the modern individual.

Who This Practice Suits

It appeals to those who may feel overwhelmed by daily stressors and are looking for gentle, movement-based therapies to regain their balance. Because the approach is centered on embodiment, it is particularly effective for people who prefer "learning by doing" rather than purely meditative or theoretical study.

The practice welcomes beginners who have never stepped onto a yoga mat, as well as experienced practitioners looking to refine their Qigong or explore the restorative benefits of Reiki.
