Spiritualism and the Temple & Spiritual Center Tradition

For those new to the concept of a temple & spiritual center, these spaces are dedicated to the practice and study of Spiritualism. At its core, this tradition is based on the belief that human consciousness survives physical death and that communication between this world and the spirit world is possible through mediumship.

Visitors to a spiritual center can expect an environment rooted in the Seven Principles of Spiritualism, which emphasize the fatherhood of God, the brotherhood of man, and continuous existence. The practice is entirely benevolent and cooperative, focusing on providing comfort, demonstrating the survival of the soul, and encouraging personal responsibility. Unlike traditional dogmatic settings, these centers often focus on "Divine Service," which includes music, prayer, an address on spiritual philosophy, and a demonstration of clairvoyance or mediumship.
