Understanding Reiki and Spiritual Healing
For those new to these practices, a spiritual healer & reiki practitioner works with the subtle energy systems of the body. Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us. Practitioners use gentle touch or hover their hands just above the body to help clear energetic blockages and restore a sense of flow.
Spiritual healing, in a broader sense, is a respectful and non-invasive practice that focuses on the harmony of mind, body, and spirit. It is not tied to any specific religion but rather a universal understanding of wellness and interconnectedness. These sessions are intended to be calming and uplifting, designed to help the individual feel more centered and resilient in their daily life.
What to Expect During Your Visit
Visitors to Holistic Therapy can expect a professional and welcoming environment where their privacy and comfort are prioritized. Sessions are conducted with the utmost respect for the individual’s personal boundaries and intentions. As a spiritual healer & reiki practitioner in Ireland, the focus is always on fostering a sense of safety and cooperation.
Clients typically remain fully clothed during a Reiki session while resting comfortably. The practitioner works to create a space of quietude, allowing the client to enter a state of deep relaxation. This process is entirely benevolent and is intended to complement, rather than replace, conventional wellness practices. It is a time for the client to pause, breathe, and focus on their internal state of being.
