Understanding Reiki and Spiritual Healing
For those new to the concepts, a Spiritual Healer & Reiki Practitioner works with the subtle energy systems of the body. Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us. When this energy is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy; when it is low, we may feel the effects of stress or fatigue more acutely.
The practice is entirely non-invasive and involves the practitioner placing their hands lightly on or just above the body to facilitate the flow of energy. It is a cooperative process where the practitioner acts as a conduit, helping the recipient tap into their own natural restorative abilities. This tradition is rooted in respect and kindness, aiming to create a sense of peace, security, and wellbeing for the participant. It is a complementary approach that works harmoniously alongside conventional wellness practices.
What to Expect During a Visit
Visitors to AllinaReiki can expect a calm, welcoming atmosphere designed to foster relaxation. As a spiritual healer & reiki practitioner Netherlands residents trust, the focus here is on creating a quiet sanctuary away from the bustle of daily commitments. During a session, the environment is prepared to be quiet and comfortable, allowing the client to enter a state of deep rest.
A session typically involves the client remaining fully clothed while the practitioner uses specific hand positions to channel energy. The experience is often described as a warm, glowing radiance that flows through and around the person. Because the practice is benevolent and non-adversarial, there is no pressure or expectation placed on the visitor; the goal is simply to allow the body and mind the space they need to recalibrate.
