Understanding Spiritual Healing and Reiki
For those new to these concepts, spiritual healing and Reiki are ancient practices rooted in the belief that a life force energy flows through all living things. Reiki is a Japanese technique developed in the early 20th century, where the practitioner acts as a conduit for "universal energy." This energy is channeled through the hands to encourage emotional or spiritual equilibrium. Spiritual healing, more broadly, encompasses various methods of restoring balance to the spirit and mind. These traditions are viewed as complementary practices that work alongside conventional wellness routines. They are never presented as medical treatments, but rather as supportive tools for maintaining a positive and centered lifestyle.
