Understanding Reiki and Energetic Healing

For those new to the world of holistic therapy, the role of a spiritual healer & reiki practitioner involves working with the subtle energy systems of the body. Reiki is a Japanese tradition that translates to "universal life energy." It is a gentle practice where the practitioner serves as a conduit for energy, often through light touch or by hovering their hands just above the body. The goal is to promote relaxation and reduce stress, allowing the body’s own natural balancing mechanisms to function more effectively.

Spiritual healing, in this context, does not refer to a specific religious dogma but rather to the nurturing of the human spirit. It is a cooperative process intended to harmonize the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of a person. These practices are non-adversarial and are designed to complement, rather than replace, conventional lifestyle choices. At Praktijk KRSTL, these traditions are applied with a focus on empowerment and clarity, helping clients move through energetic blockages in a peaceful, supportive manner.
