Understanding the Role of a Spiritual Healer & Reiki Practitioner
For those new to the field, a spiritual healer & reiki practitioner works with the concept of life force energy. Reiki is a Japanese tradition that dates back to the early 20th century, founded on the principle of "Rei" (universal) and "Ki" (life energy). Practitioners act as a conduit for this benevolent energy, using gentle hand placements on or just above the body to encourage a state of deep relaxation.
The practice is entirely non-invasive and is based on a cooperative relationship between the practitioner and the recipient. It is rooted in a philosophy of respect and compassion, aimed at fostering a sense of harmony within the mind, body, and spirit. Unlike medical interventions, these sessions are designed to support the body’s natural ability to find its own state of equilibrium and peace.
