Understanding Spiritual Healing and Reiki

For those new to the world of energy work, the role of a spiritual healer & reiki practitioner involves facilitating a process of relaxation and stress reduction. Reiki is a Japanese technique based on the principle that a practitioner can channel energy to a client through touch or proximity to activate the natural healing processes of the body and restore physical and emotional well-being.

In a professional setting, this tradition is practiced with the utmost respect for the individual's boundaries. It is a cooperative experience where the practitioner and the client work together to foster a sense of peace. Spiritual healing, in this context, does not refer to medical intervention, but rather to the nurturing of the "soul" or "inner self," helping to clear mental clutter and promote a state of harmony. These practices are entirely benevolent and are designed to complement, rather than replace, traditional healthcare.
