Duke Murmur is the preeminent necromantic teacher of the Goetia. He constrains the souls of the dead to appear before the practitioner and answer questions with truth and wisdom. Through Murmur, practitioners gain access to the accumulated wisdom of the dead — philosophers, sages, and ancestors whose knowledge transcends the boundaries of mortal life. He teaches philosophy through direct communion with departed souls.
