Attunement of Konohanasakuya-hime

This intermediate course presents a disciplined, historically informed path for attuning to Konohanasakuya‑hime as a benevolent kami of beauty, renewal, fertility, and emergent potential. Rooted in primary sources (Kojiki, Nihon Shoki) and shrine practice codified in Engishiki, the curriculum teaches precise protocols of shrine etiquette, offering construction, seasonal timing, and verbal formulas used in historical shrine contexts. Practical skill development is emphasized: altar construction, botanical cord‑making, movement and breath practices adapted to Shinto ritual posture, and botanical phenology for ritual scheduling. Ethics and reciprocal relationship practice are central. Students learn consent protocols, offerings that honor local ecology, long‑term reciprocity systems, and parishioner‑style bookkeeping of exchanges. Ritual praxis modules cover project initiation rites, incubation altars, dreamwork for symbolic blossoming, and measured milestones for attunement progress across four modules. Life‑cycle and renewal rites are taught with clear limitations: methods support creative gestation and graceful transitions without making medical or clinical claims. Assessment tools include journaling templates, milestone checklists, seasonal planting calendars, and practical exams in shrine movement, offering construction, and botanical cordwork. Materials lists, safe handling instructions for talismans and recipe‑based offerings, and recommended readings from Kojiki, Nihon Shoki, and Engishiki are provided. By course end students will have a functioning personal shrine protocol, embodied practice routines, a seasonal ritual plan, and a documented attunement record suitable for ongoing reciprocal work with Konohanasakuya‑hime.
