Attunement of Tenjin
This course offers a historically grounded, practical training in Tenjin attunement: devotional, ritual, and cognitive techniques derived from practical Shinto practice and classical mnemonic traditions. Taught for intermediate practitioners, the program combines accurate historical profile of Sugawara no Michizane and the Tenjin cult with precise ritual elements—norito composition, offerings, purity protocols, and timing—so students may construct and maintain a study shrine and integrate devotional work with disciplined memory systems. Students learn daily and examination-period protocols, including micro-rituals, study cycles, attention-management sequences, and recovery practices designed to prevent ritual fatigue. The syllabus covers breath, posture, and ritualized loci techniques adapted to scholarly attunement; ethical handling of relics and talismans; and energetic hygiene methods that sustain cognitive clarity. Advanced modules introduce guided visualizations, non-Esoteric-Christian sigilized dedications, and graduated initiatory exercises to deepen attunement and integrate gains into long-term study practice. Assessment and personalization methods are taught so practitioners can measure improvements in memory, focus, and academic performance and adapt protocols to learner types. This course excludes Solomonic/Goetic/Judeo-Christian ceremonial systems, clinical psychotherapy or medical treatment, and pop-occult sensationalism. Its aim is clear: to equip serious students, educators, and researchers with repeatable, ethically grounded Shinto-derived methods for disciplined scholarly development.
