The Role of a Spiritual Healer & Reiki Practitioner
For those unfamiliar with the tradition, a spiritual healer & reiki practitioner works with the subtle energies of the body to promote a sense of inner peace. Reiki is a Japanese technique rooted in the principle of "rei" (universal) and "ki" (life energy). During a session, the practitioner acts as a conduit for this energy, typically using light touch or placing hands just above the body.
This practice is built upon a foundation of benevolence and respect for the individual's journey. It is not a medical treatment, but rather a cooperative process where the practitioner and the visitor work together to clear energetic blockages. The goal is to encourage a state of deep relaxation, which allows the body’s own restorative processes to function more effectively. It is a non-invasive, quiet, and calming experience designed to harmonize the mind, body, and spirit.
