Master Rhyan, what exactly are the Power Words we receive during an attunement?
This is something I want every student to understand properly, because Power Words are very easy to misunderstand.
The moment I tell someone that there is a word received directly from a spirit and that this word must remain private, the imagination starts running. Suddenly we have secret passwords, forbidden names and mysterious formulas capable of commanding demons.
That is not what I am teaching.
A Power Word is much more personal than that.
Within our practice, it belongs to the connection established between one spirit and one specific person. It is received during the seventh ritual of the attunement, transmitted through Rakh Enagh, and given only to the person for whom it was received.
You cannot translate it.
You cannot transfer it.
You should not share it.
And perhaps most importantly, you do not need to understand it intellectually for it to fulfill its purpose.
Let me explain why.
1. The Power Word Is Personal
The first thing I want you to remove from your mind is the idea that the Power Word is simply another secret name of the spirit.
It is not.
A spirit can have a name known by thousands or even millions of people. There may also be sigils, traditional invocations, correspondences and other methods associated with that spirit.
Those things belong to the general tradition.
Your Power Word does not.
The Power Word received through an attunement is specifically connected with you and that spirit.
If I perform an attunement for two people to the same spirit, I am not simply handing both of them a standard word taken from a list. During the seventh ritual, the Power Word is sought individually for each practitioner.
That difference matters enormously.
The Power Word therefore does not merely identify the spirit.
It expresses something belonging to the connection.
This is why I sometimes describe it as a personal key.
The spirit is the same, but the person standing before the door is different.
2. Why the Power Word Comes During the Seventh Ritual
People sometimes ask why we do not retrieve the Power Word immediately.
There is a reason.
The Power Word is received during the seventh ritual, after the preceding stages of the attunement have already taken place.
The connection has been approached repeatedly. The work has developed progressively. The Master has worked with the spirit specifically in relation to the person receiving the attunement.
Only then do we arrive at the seventh ritual and seek the personal Power Word.
I want you to understand the difference between this and simply inventing something that sounds suitably occult.
Anyone can invent mysterious syllables.
Give me five minutes and a cup of coffee and I can probably produce twenty impressive magical words.
That proves absolutely nothing.
The seventh ritual exists within a process.
The Master enters that ritual after the preceding work has established the conditions for the personal transmission.
The Power Word is therefore not an ornament added to the attunement.
It is its culmination.
3. How the Master Retrieves the Power Word
During the seventh ritual, the Master seeks direct transmission from the spirit for the specific person undergoing the attunement.
I emphasize specific person because this explains almost everything that follows.
The Master does not ask:
“What is your Power Word?”
He asks for the Power Word for this practitioner.
That distinction is fundamental.
The transmission can present itself in different ways according to the Master and the nature of the contact. It may arrive as a clear sequence of sounds, as an internally perceived formulation, or as an immediate recognition in which the complete word becomes present without having been consciously constructed.
With experience, the Master learns not to chase the transmission.
This is important.
If you desperately want to hear something, the mind is extraordinarily helpful. It will happily provide something.
The mind hates empty space.
Give it ten seconds of silence and it starts redecorating.
This is why discipline and experience matter. The Master must learn the difference between trying to manufacture an answer and allowing the transmission to present itself.
Within our spiritual framework, what is received during this seventh ritual is understood as direct transmission from the spirit for the indicated person.
That is the origin of the personal Power Word.
4. Why It Comes Through Rakh Enagh
Now we arrive at the part that causes perhaps the most confusion.
The Power Word is received in Rakh Enagh.
Students naturally want to know what it means.
“What is the English translation?”
“What would it mean in Spanish?”
“Can you tell me the closest equivalent?”
No.
Not because I refuse to tell you.
Because there is no translation to give you.
Rakh Enagh Power Words cannot be translated into another language. Neither can Rakh Enagh mantras.
This is fundamental to understanding their purpose.
Rakh Enagh is not being used here as ordinary language.
The Power Word is not a sentence addressed to your analytical mind.
It speaks to the soul and spirit.
That is why trying to translate it misses the point completely.
5. The Mind Wants Meaning
The difficulty is that we have spent our entire lives learning that words must mean something intellectually.
If I say tree, you immediately know what I mean.
If I say fear, you understand the concept.
If I say strength, your mind begins connecting that word with ideas, experiences and memories.
Ordinary language enters through interpretation.
Rakh Enagh Power Words do not require this process.
You do not receive the Power Word so that you can sit down afterward and analyze its grammar.
There is no examination.
Nobody is going to ask you to conjugate your Power Word in the past tense.
The analytical mind is simply not the intended destination.
And here the mind can actually become an obstacle.
I am not telling you that thinking is bad. You know my teachings well enough to understand that I value discernment enormously.
A spiritual practitioner who refuses to think is very easy to deceive.
But intelligence also means recognizing that not every human experience must be processed through intellectual interpretation.
Music is an obvious example.
A piece of music can affect you profoundly without explaining itself.
You do not hear a particular note and ask:
“What does that note mean in Spanish?”
The question does not apply.
The note communicates differently.
Rakh Enagh operates according to the same basic principle within our practice.
Its function is not dependent upon translation.
6. Why Translation Would Destroy the Purpose
Suppose you receive your Power Word and then decide that you absolutely must know what it means.
You begin searching for equivalents.
Eventually you decide that perhaps it means “strength.”
So you replace your Power Word with the word strength.
Have you translated it?
No.
You have replaced it.
That is something completely different.
The original phonetic structure has disappeared. The transmitted form has disappeared. What remains is an ordinary human concept selected by the analytical mind.
This is precisely what we do not want.
The Rakh Enagh form is preserved because the transmitted form is part of the Power Word itself.
Sound matters.
Vibration matters.
Sequence matters.
The way the word was received matters.
You do not improve the transmission by translating it.
You move away from it.
This applies equally to Rakh Enagh mantras.
They are not riddles waiting for somebody clever enough to decode them.
They are intended to be used.
7. The Master Is the Bridge, Not the Owner
There is another important point.
The Master who retrieves your Power Word does not own it.
The Master is the intermediary through whom the transmission is received.
Imagine somebody gives me a sealed letter and asks me to deliver it to you.
I carry it.
I know who sent it.
I know who should receive it.
But the letter is not mine.
I am simply responsible for its correct delivery.
That is how I understand the Master's responsibility during the seventh ritual.
I establish the ritual conditions.
I seek the transmission.
I receive the Power Word.
I ensure that it is transmitted accurately to the correct practitioner.
Then my role concerning that word is finished.
The Power Word belongs to your practice with the spirit.
8. Why Power Words Cannot Be Transferred
This naturally explains why Power Words cannot be transferred.
Imagine that you receive a Power Word for your attunement with a particular demon.
Your friend is fascinated.
He asks you for it.
You tell him.
Can he pronounce it?
Of course.
Does that mean he now possesses your Power Word?
No.
He possesses the sound.
That is not the same thing.
The word was retrieved during the seventh ritual for you.
The transmission was connected with your attunement.
Your friend was not the indicated person.
Think about a key.
I can make an exact copy of the key to my house and give it to you.
The copy is perfect.
But that does not make it the key to your house.
The problem is not the quality of the copy.
It is the relationship between the key and the lock.
That is why Power Words are non-transferable.
Someone can copy the sounds.
They cannot copy the transmission.
9. Why Your Power Word Must Remain Private
This is also why I instruct students to keep their Power Words private.
Not because I want to create artificial secrecy.
Not because something terrible will happen if another human being hears it.
And certainly not because secrecy makes us more important.
Privacy serves the integrity of the relationship.
Your Power Word was received for you.
What possible advantage is there in publishing it?
None.
The moment you begin sharing Power Words, people start comparing them.
“Mine has four syllables.”
“Mine sounds stronger.”
“Yours sounds like this other word.”
“My friend's Power Word for the same demon is completely different.”
Of course it is different.
It was received for your friend.
Human beings have a remarkable ability to take something intimate and turn it into a competition.
Do not participate in that.
Your Power Word does not need an audience.
Keep it between yourself and the spirit.
10. Do Not Collect Other People's Power Words
For exactly the same reason, I strongly discourage students from collecting Power Words.
There is nothing to collect.
If ten practitioners have been individually attuned to the same spirit and you obtain all ten of their Power Words, you have not gained ten times the power.
You have collected ten things that were not transmitted for you.
It is like collecting other people's keys.
You can fill an entire room with them.
Thousands of keys.
Very impressive.
And when you arrive at your own front door, you still need yours.
Esoteric students sometimes become addicted to secret information because secrecy creates the illusion of advancement.
They think:
“If I know something other people don't know, I must be progressing.”
Not necessarily.
You might simply know more secrets.
Spiritual development is not measured by the number of forbidden words in your notebook.
It is measured by what happens to you through practice.
11. How the Power Word Should Be Used
Once you receive your Power Word, use it according to the practice for which it was given.
Pronounce it carefully.
Do not rush it.
Do not casually modify it because another pronunciation sounds better to you.
Do not translate it.
Do not substitute another word.
And do not obsess over understanding it mentally.
Allow the Power Word to do what it was transmitted to do.
Over time, something develops.
You have pronounced this same word during your work with the spirit.
You have used it during periods of clarity and periods of difficulty.
You have approached the spirit through it repeatedly.
The word becomes inseparable from the relationship.
At the beginning, it may feel unfamiliar.
Later, it becomes intimate.
Eventually you may pronounce it and immediately recognize the shift into that particular spiritual connection.
This is why practice matters more than curiosity.
You learn what the Power Word is by working with it, not by dissecting it.
12. The Mind Must Know When to Become Quiet
This brings me to perhaps the deepest part of this lesson.
The mind is an extraordinary instrument.
Use it.
Question things.
Observe yourself.
Learn.
Develop discernment.
Do not believe everything merely because somebody places the word “spiritual” in front of it.
But also understand the limits of analytical thought.
The mind wants to stand between you and every experience and say:
“Before you continue, please explain this to me.”
Sometimes that is useful.
Sometimes it is exactly the obstacle.
Rakh Enagh Power Words and mantras are not directed primarily toward that analytical layer.
They speak to the soul and spirit.
So when you receive your Power Word, you do not have to solve it.
You have to work with it.
There is an enormous difference.
The inexperienced practitioner asks:
“What does my Power Word mean?”
The experienced practitioner eventually asks:
“What happens when I use it?”
One question seeks intellectual possession.
The other seeks experience.
And spiritual practice, ultimately, must become experience.
The Parable of the Song
A student once came to a musician carrying a sheet of music.
He pointed to a passage that had moved him deeply.
“What does this mean?” he asked.
The musician played the passage.
The student listened.
“Yes,” he said impatiently, “but what does it mean?”
The musician played it again.
The student became frustrated.
“I want you to explain it.”
So the musician finally said:
“If I could replace this music with a sentence and nothing were lost, there would have been no reason to compose the music.”
The student became quiet.
The musician continued.
“You are trying to make your mind the judge of something that was never addressed exclusively to your mind.”
That is how I want you to understand Rakh Enagh.
A Power Word does not need to become English, Spanish, French or any other language before it can reach you.
Translation would not reveal the Power Word.
Translation would replace it.
Its purpose lies precisely in what it carries without requiring intellectual interpretation.
And this is why the mind, useful as it is, sometimes needs enough humility to remain silent.
When you receive your Power Word, understand what has actually been placed into your hands.
Within our tradition, the Master reaches the seventh ritual after the preceding stages of the attunement have established the work with the spirit. During that seventh ritual, the Master seeks direct transmission from the spirit for the specific person undergoing the attunement.
The Power Word is received through Rakh Enagh.
It is not subsequently translated because it cannot be translated without ceasing to be what was received.
The same principle applies to Rakh Enagh mantras.
They are not ordinary sentences disguised in an exotic language.
Their purpose lies beyond intellectual translation.
They speak to the soul and spirit.
Your Power Word is therefore yours.
Not because you own the spirit.
Not because nobody else is physically capable of pronouncing those sounds.
It is yours because the transmission was retrieved for you.
Another person can copy the pronunciation.
They cannot copy the transmission behind it.
That is why you keep it private.
That is why you do not exchange Power Words.
That is why you do not collect them.
And that is why you do not waste your time trying to translate them.
Use the mind where the mind is useful.
Use discernment where discernment is necessary.
But do not demand that every spiritual experience present its passport to the intellect before you allow it to enter.
There comes a point where analysis must give way to practice.
You pronounce the Power Word.
You enter the connection.
You experience.
And you allow what was transmitted for your soul and spirit to speak in the language in which it was given.
You do not need to translate the key.
You need to use it on the door for which it was made.
