Then comes a more subtle color: citrine, a golden yellow.
This stage is less often discussed, but it is important.

In earlier stages awareness becomes clear, but life energy may still feel somewhat quiet. In the citrine stage, clarity and vitality begin to unite.

You begin to move in the world with natural confidence, because awareness and energy are working together.
Finally, the alchemists describe the appearance of red.
Red is the sign of completion.
Red symbolizes the fully integrated state where awareness, vitality, and embodiment function as one.
In this stage the work is no longer fragile.
Your center remains stable even in the middle of life’s movement. Joy and difficulty, praise and criticism, silence and activity — none of them disturb the core.
Red represents living consciousness.
Not detached from life, not lost in it — but fully participating while remaining rooted in awareness.
The alchemists call this the Stone.
Not an object, but a state that cannot be shaken.
A person established in this stage is not dramatic. They are not necessarily mystical in appearance. Often they look very ordinary.
But their presence carries a certain warmth, clarity, and quiet strength.
Because their inner structure has become coherent.
Now it is important to understand something subtle: these colors are not rigid steps.
They do not appear like checkpoints on a ladder.
Life is more fluid.
Sometimes blackness returns briefly to dissolve deeper layers. Sometimes white clarity deepens gradually. Sometimes vitality awakens in small waves.
The colors describe tendencies rather than strict sequences.
They are signs that help the alchemist recognize the direction of the process.
In practical life you can observe these changes gently.
When confusion and identity dissolve, you are touching the black stage.
When clarity and calm awareness appear, the white stage is present.
When vitality and awareness move together, citrine is emerging.
When stability and presence remain in every circumstance, the red stage is approaching.
But remember: the purpose of the path is not to chase colors.
The colors are simply indicators.
Your task remains the same as always:
Remain aware.
Remain patient.
Allow the process to unfold.
Transformation happens naturally when the right conditions exist.
And when it happens, its signs appear quietly — just as the sky slowly changes color before sunrise.
